The Eagle Field Service System

Specific major users of Exel's Eagle Field Service application needed additional features added to the application, including the ability to add task progress reports with photographs and signatures. This had to work even if the mobile phone was disconnected from the internet, saving the data locally and then updating when possible. The application was written using Rhodes Mobile, a system for building mobile applications using Ruby on Rails.

I added the ability to add logs with photographs, and used SQLite to save the data locally, before sending it to the central database when possible. I worked closely with another developer to create a signature widget in JavaScript, which was then added to the Ruby on Rails based application.
